Beef and Pause (So In Love) Ch 01

~Beef POV~

It was an ordinary day, as Pause and I were caving together. It had been months since the two of us last caved with one another.
"DIAMOND!" Pause exclaimed, happily as he started to mine it. "Wait Pause, make sure there's no..." it was too late. The diamond fell into lava. I continued, "lava behind it. You just lost the diamond!" Pause hung his head in shame. "I'm sorry, Beef. I didn't mean it.." he went off to search for more diamond.
A while later, I found what I thought was diamond from a distance, but in return, it was lapis. "Can't believe you lost that diamond, Pause," I muttered. "I SAID I WAS SORRY OKAY? It was one diamond, stop talking about it!" He shouted. "One diamond could make a shovel," I added. We walked up on a huge, unexpected ravine. Pause started making a pathway along the edge, and I just stood there in awe. The ravine was very beautiful. It deserved a screenshot. I F2'ed it. "BEEF. BEEF, BEHIND YOU! CREEPER!" I turned around as I swung my sword but, it was too late. Sssssssssss BOOM. In the face! Everything went black.

~General POV~

"How is he Doc? How much longer will he be in the coma?" Guude asked him. "Can't say for sure. Hopefully soon. We're doing everything we can for him," Doc waited for a minute, just in case he had another question, then walked out of the room. A few minutes passed and Guude just sat, staring at Beef, as he waited for him to rise. "Is..Is Doc gone?" BdoubleO peeped his head into the room and took a look around to see if Doc was still in the room. Guude laughed.

~Beef POV~


"Beef? Beef? Please wake up Beef. BEEF!" I heard the familiar voice call to me. I slowly opened my eyes to the best of my ability and saw Pause. "What..what happened?" I had no clue where I was, or what happened.
I felt lighter than usual, so I took a look at my body. My eyes went wide, as I saw my legs. "Oh no! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY LEGS?!"

I shot up from the hospital bed, then plopped back down. My body ache, and so did my head. My legs were still there. "Beef!" Guude stood up quickly and looked at me, with a huge smile on his face. "Where's.....Pause?" I asked as clear as I could. Guude and BdoubleO looked at each other, then at the ground. "Beef, you've been in a coma for 5 months.. You were hit by a creeper blast and fell half-way down the ravine," Guude informed me. "F-Five months?" I was in shock. "Where's Pause?" I asked again. "We've been here to check on you everyday," he was avoiding the question. "Pff, I haven't," BdoubleO added as Guude had his laugh. Why weren't they answering my question? Did something happen to Pause?
